WHO AM I?

Born in Dubbo, New South Wales in 1999 and developed a passion for film and filmmaking.

During my time at school I produced a few short works once I received my first video camera, a Sony FDR-AX53. These works ranged from just experimenting video techniques at 2am to short films suitable for competition entry.

I moved to Canberra, ACT in 2019 to study a Bachelor of Arts (Film Production) at the University of Canberra.  In my first year I develop small experimental works for assignments. In September 2019, I landed my first paid employment in my industry working for Sportscast Australia. It was here I met esteemed Canberra producer, Daniel Sanguineti, CEO and founder of Sanguineti Media Pictures. Dan kindly hired me as a Camera Operator for his feature film Nightmare of Alice (still in production). On this set I met more local Canberra filmmakers and formed many friendships.

In 2020, I had started my second year focusing on specialising in Directing. Projects were flowing until COVID-19 came through Australia's front door. Naturally, most of work life shut down and productions were at a standstill. Towards the second semester, COVID-19 eased off in the ACT. I was fortunate enough to direct and produce a short film Within (2019) which went on to win festivals awards at various festivals.

2021 arrived, my final year in my degree. I acquired more exposure and recognition as a Grip, Gaffer, and Lighting technician. I worked on multiple productions in a few months with companies such as; Sanguineti Media Pictures, Space Farers Civilisation Films (SFC), and Vorfreude Pictures.

I aspire to continue filmmaking in Canberra to an advanced calibre as well as being a teaching careers specialising in film and media studies.
